Born in Darby, PA in 1919, Dorothy was the daughter of Otilla (Kumph) and Edward Thompson, both deceased.
She was a 1937 graduate of Upper Darby High School and worked as an Administrative Assistant for Bidwell Construction in West Chester, PA.
She was predeceased by her husband, Paul James Carr, Sr, sons, Neil J. Carr and Kenneth D. Carr and granddaughter, Lauren Carr.
She was the loving mother of Paul J. Carr (Mary), Joanne Hewitt (Bill) of Escondido, CA, ; dear mother-in-law of Susan Carr (Neil); and loving grandmother of 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Services and interment are private by family.
