Born in Baltimore, MD, Dorothy was the daughter of the late Rebecca (Underwood) and Charles Washington.
She worked for over 40 years as a Factor worker for Tuttle & Bailey in New Britain, CT. Dorothy enjoyed music and visits to the casino and she had a talent for sewing.
Dorothy was the beloved Mother of Paula V. Charlton and Stephen L. Carlton; loving Grandmother of Damon, Kiara, Malik, Brent, Blair and loving Great-Grandmother of Paul, Quentin, Isiah, Semaj and Arianna.
