Dorothy Marie "Grand" Lynn
Dorothy Marie "Grand" Lynn, age 83 of Drexel Hill, PA and formerly of Southwest Philadelphia and Collingdale, passed away peacefully at home June 26, 2016, surrounded by her family and many friends. Loving mother of Robert "Buzzy" (Patricia) Lynn, Sherree (Paul) McCulley, Kelliann (John) O'Connor, and Julie(Chris) Duffy. Devoted grandmother of 13, great-grandmother of 17.
Dottie Mae was born in Philadelphia and attended Saint John Bartram High School. She later lived in Collingdale and worked as a waitress at many establishments in Delaware County, PA and Sea Isle City, NJ. She loved the shore and always made her way to the ocean for the Feast of the Assumption. "Grand" was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to all. She was always the person people sought for counsel, and always made time to listen. She will be sorely missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to Dottie Mae's visitation on Thursday, June 30, 2016 from 9 to 10:30 AM in St. Dorothy's Church, 4910 Township Line Rd, Drexel Hill, PA 19026, and Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:30 AM. Interment private. In lieu of flowers please send wine, or donations may be made in Dottie's name to Adults With Autism:Living with Independence, Value and Esteem,
