Dorothy Marcincavage (nee Evans), 90, of Coatesville, PA and formerly of Boyertown, PA passed away on December 17, 2013.
Born in 1923, Dorothy was the daughter of Mary (Weaver) and David F. Evans, both deceased.
Dorothy was a 1941 graduate of the Mary Lyon School in Swarthmore, PA and a 1945 graduate of The Pennsylvania State University, majoring in Home Economics. She served honorably in the US Army and worked as a Packaging Inspector for the Boyertown Packaging Company for over 20 years.
She was predeceased by her husband, the late Edward T. Marcincavage.
Dorothy was the loving mother of Tom Marcincavage of Burlington, KY, Mary Massung of Coatesville, PA and John Marcincavage of Lago Vista, TX; loving grandmother of 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; dear sister of Helen Evans, David Evans and Jane Durr.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 10:00-11:00 AM Saturday, December 21, 2013 and to her Funeral Service 11:00 AM at the Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, 610-431-9000.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. James Episcopal Church, 409 E. Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown, PA 19335.
