Dorothy L. McDonald (nee Brooks), age 89, of Drexel Hill, PA, formerly of Leesburg, FL, passed away on March 6, 2016. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd C. and Helen Brooks (nee Dugan). Dorothy was a graduate of West Catholic Girls High School in Philadelphia and was employed as a waitress at Pica's Restaurant in Upper Darby.
Dorothy was predeceased by her husband, Charles F. McDonald. She is survived by her sons Charles (Loretta) and Daniel McDonald, her grandchildren Charles McDonald, III, Daniel McDonald, Jr. and Bryan McDonald and her great-grandchildren Madelyn, Mallory and Lillian Grace.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Wednesday, March 9, 2016 9:30-10:30 AM St. Laurence Church, 8245 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA and to her Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
