Dorothy Phillips

Dorothy H."Dotty" Phillips (nee Hayes), age 79, of Bryn Mawr, PA, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2020.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late James L. and Dorothy M. (nee Ristine) Hayes.

Dorothy was a graduate of Upper Darby High School, Class of 1959 and received her Licensed Practical Nurse certification from the Albert Einstein Medical Center (AEMC) School of Nursing, and worked in the healthcare industry.

Dorothy was the beloved wife of Fred R. Phillips, Sr.; the loving mother of Christopher Phillips (Leslie), Fred Phillips, Jr., (Joan) and the late George J. Phillips (the late Nancy).  She was the cherished grandmother of Barbara, Amy, Christopher, Jr., Paul, Ashley, Amanda, Alycia, Andrew, Kevin, Brendan, and the late Jason.  She was the great-grandmother of Dylan, Ryan, Jack, Luella and Charlotte.  She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Dorothy was predeceased by her brothers, James Hayes and Robert Hayes.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing, Monday, March 2, 2020, 7:00 to 9:00 PM and Tuesday, 10:00 – 11:000 AM at The Donohue Funeral  Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA  19073, 610-353-6300, followed by her Funeral Service at 11:00 AM.   Interment Hillside Cemetery, Roslyn, PA.
