Dorothy G. Weiderhold Stickney (nee Richards), age 87, of Narvon, formerly of Exton and Brooksville, FL, passed away on February 8, 2015.
Born in 1927, in Philadelphia, Dorothy was the daughter of the late Grace (Bell) and Benjamin K. Richards.
Dorothy was the beloved wife of the late John Weiderhold. She was a loving mother to her two sons, John H. Weiderhold (Barbara G.) and James H. Weiderhold (the late Betty Ann); loving grandmother of Jim, Jr., Chris, Ryan, and Jason; and loving great-grandmother of Brittany, Alexa, MacKenzie, Kylie, Olivia, and Kasey; and dear sister of Bill Richards (Jean).
Dorothy enjoyed crocheting and knitting doilies. She also loved camping.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation on Saturday, February 14, 9:00am to 10:30am, at The Donohue Funeral Home, 43 W Lancaster Ave, Downingtown, PA 19335, (610)269-3080, immediately followed by her memorial service at 10:30am. Interment Philadelphia Memorial Park, Frazer, PA 19355.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to The Lancaster County Hospice Association, 685 Good Dr, P.O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604, would be greatly appreciated.
