Dorothy Ann Williams, 80, of West Chester, passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 28, 2016.
Born in Philadelphia and formerly of Southwest Philly and Delaware County, she was the daughter of the late Charles Drecher and Jennie Laterza (nee Albero, Stillings, Drecher).
She worked most of her life until the birth of her 1st grand-child when she "retired" to babysit. She loved and enjoyed spoiling her grand-children and grand-dog, Dakota. She loved to dance and play the lottery especially her "scratchies". Her other hobbies were Crocheting, Pokeno, Bingo and especially watching old black and white movies. She also took great joy in good-natured ribbing with her son-in-law.
Dorothy was the devoted wife of 55 years to Leon Williams, the loving mother of Linda A. (Richard) (nee Logsdon) Schroth and the dear sister of Anna Wolfe, Walter (Antoinette) Stillings, Mary (William) McRae, Rose Mellor, Catherine Simmons, Adeline (George) Tomaziefski, and the late Charles and Jean Drecher. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Krista and Stephen Schroth.
Relatives and Friends are invited to her Visitation at Saints Simon and Jude Church, 8 Cavanaugh Court, West Chester, PA on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 10:00 to 11:00 A.M., followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM.
