Dorothy Yagmourian

Dorothy E. Yagmourian (nee Eckhart), age 92, a 52 year resident of Havertown, PA, passed away on March 2, 2015. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Pierce V. and Elizabeth Eckhart (nee Downey). She was a 1942 graduate of West Catholic Girls HIgh School in Philadelphia. She served in the United States Army during World War II as a WAC. She was employed as a telephone operator for Bell Atlantic, Janney Montgomery Scott and Merrill Lynch. She retired in 1990.



Dorothy was predeceased by her husband, Harry Yagmourian and her brother, Pierce V. Eckhart (Loretta). She is survived by her children Harry William, Dennis John (Maureen), Jane Voorhees and Gary Joseph Yagmourian, her grandchildren Dennis John, Rachel Bailey (Azim), Jeannette and Jon, her great-grandchild Jeremy Milbourne and her sister Jane Sullivan (Frank) and many nieces and nephews.



Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Friday, March 6, 2015 10:15-10:50 AM Annunciation BVM Church, 401 Brookline Blvd., Havertown, PA and to her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA.



In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory to the Annunciation BVM Church Sanctuary Guild at the above address would be appreciated.
