Born in Richmond Heights, Missouri, Douglas was the son of Dorothy Fisher and Robert E. Bamford, both deceased.
He served honorably in the US Air Force. Douglas was an Eelctrical Engineer and worked for Mitre Corporation in Tyson Corner, VA before his retirement.
He is survived by his sister, Linda Anne Haake of West Chester, PA.
