Douglas Franklin Donnolo, age 85, of Upper Chichester PA, passed away on February 17, 2023.
He was the son of the late William and Zella Donnolo. Douglas was predeceased by his brother William “Billy”, and sister Marie Alemani.
Douglas is survived by his beloved wife Virginia Donnolo, along with many nieces and nephews.
Douglas was a journeyman Ironworker for several years after serving in the United States Navy. He was a hardworking man with important values.
First and foremost Douglas was a family man. He was happiest during those times, especially being down the beach with Virginia enjoying the ocean. He was a self-made man who loved his wife Virginia dearly. He was also kind, considerate, loved dogs, and was happy with the life that he and his wife built together during 53 years of marriage.
Douglas and Virginia were the owners and operators of the florist shop “Donnolo’s Distinctive Florals” for 43 years. He was a person of creativity and ambition. Douglas will be missed by all who knew him.

Family and Friends are invited to his Viewing on Saturday February 25th, 2023 at St. Joseph’s Church at 332 Manor Ave, Downingtown PA from 10:00am to 11:00am followed by his Funeral Mass at St. Joseph’s. Interment Private.
