Doyle B. Brian, 79, of Downingtown, PA passed away peacefully surrounded by family on January 19, 2017.
Born in Lawrenceville, Il in1937, he was the son of the late Hanford W. and Margaret Elizabeth (nee Johnson) Brian. Doyle was a member of the West Caln Sportsmen's Club where he designed and maintained their website for many years. His hobbies included working with computers, fishing, hunting, gardening, and woodworking. He enjoyed many travels with his family, camping in our National Parks and in the Maine woods. Doyle's lifelong career was with IBM, working as an Installation Planner as systems evolved over the years.
Doyle was the beloved husband of Barbara Mae (nee Schroeder) Brian; loving father of Kimberly D. Mikowychok, Keith D. Brian (Linda), Dr. Karin D. Brian (Thomas H. Dooley); devoted grandfather of Carol Persin (John) and Alan Mikowychok; dear brother of Ralph E. Brian (Nancy).
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 5:00-7:00 PM Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 43 W. Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown, PA 19335, 610-269-3080. Interment private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the East Brandywine Volunteer Fire Company, 2096 Bondsville Road, Downingtown, PA 19335 or to the Salvation Army, 101 E. Market Street, West Chester, PA 19382.
