Dr. Benjason Rodrigo Nunez

Dr. Benjason Rodrigo Nunez, age 45, of Havertown, PA, passed away on March 6, 2025.

Jason graduated from Penn State University in 2001 and the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2008. He was a hardworking, practicing Physician with the TeamHealth/Crozer Health System and was recently awarded the Amazing Save Award in 2024 for his dedicated attention to service and care. Jason had an amazing rapport with his co-workers, and was highly appreciated by staff and patients alike.

Jason was an enthusiastic Phillies, Eagles, and 76ers fan. He enjoyed fantasy football, poker, Clash of Clans, and was an avid golfer. Jason loved hosting and cooking for his friends and family—always trying to perfect his steaks. He cherished playing the ukulele along his siblings and was known for being a great Taylor Swift fan. He had an adventurous spirit with a passion for travel. He remained close with his college friends, who affectionately refer to themselves as 'the Wolf Pack'.

Jason was always family-oriented and a loving husband, father, son, and brother. He was known for telling the best 'Dad jokes' by his kids.

Jason was the adoring husband of Jeana (nee Yi); beloved and thoughtful son of Dr. Aida (nee Rodrigo) and the late Dr. Eusebio Nunez; loving father of Elle Yi Nunez and Benjamin Yi Nunez; dear brother of Scott Nunez (Jaymee) and Dr. Marisa Nunez (Anthony DePompei), and Jea Young Yi; adored son-in-law of Jong and Mi Yi; also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and the Barkada family.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 5:00-8:00 PM Thursday, March 13, 2025 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073, 610-353-6300, and Friday 9:00-10:00 AM at St. Pius X Church, 220 Lawrence.
