Dr. William Gibbons

Dr. William E. Gibbons, of Downingtown, PA, passed away on February 26, 2020.

He was born in Philadelphia, PA in 1964. He earned his Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine from PCOM, having received a B.S. degree in Cardiac Perfusion from Hahnemann University and a B.S. in Biology from Holy Family University. In his spare time, William was a part of many organizations. He was the President and founder of GOALS Adventure Racing Association, a Fellow of the Academy of Wilderness Medicine, and a 42 year member of the Civil Air Patrol. He also achieved the rank of Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America and was involved in youth sports.

William was the beloved husband of Anne Gibbons; loving son of William E Gibbons (Susan) and the late Rebecca J. Seville; caring father of Candace Moulton, Carmella Tress, Hope Gibbons, William Gibbons, and Julia Gibbons; adoring grandfather of Jared Moulton, Kyle Moulton, and Autumn Tress; dear brother of Sarah Atterberry, David Gibbons, and Elizabeth Haldeman; also survived by many cousins, nephews, and nieces.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 5-8 PM Thursday, March 5, 2020 and 10-11:30 AM Friday at The Donohue Funeral Home, 43 W. Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown, PA 19335, 610-269-3080, followed by his Funeral Mass 12 Noon at St. Joseph Church, 332 Manor Avenue, Downingtown, PA 19335.
