Earl Heines Zelaya, loving father and grandfather was called home to be with the Lord on October 25, 2018. Earl was born on July 27, 1934 in La Ceiba Honduras. Earl came to the US in 1963 and lived in Bronx, NY, where he became an avid NY Yankees fan. He began driving cars at an early age and was a driver and truck driver as a young adult. Earl was active in his church youth ministry and sang in the choir. Earl married his childhood sweetheart, Dolly Brooks, in 1964 and lived with his family in Newark, NJ, Hempstead, NY and then moved to PA in 2001. Earl worked in carpentry and construction. At home he loved to garden, fix up the house, wash his cars, sing and listen to music. Earl was a natural born comedian. His big laugh warmed your heart and his stories surely entertained. Earl was a very sharp dresser and wore suits often, even to his doctor appointments. Earl loved his grandchildren dearly and spent time with them listening to music, telling jokes and funny stories about his younger days in Honduras and teaching them about life and his love of music. Earl became a widower in December 2015, after 50 years of marriage. He is survived by his daughters; Karen and her husband Oahspe, Sandra and Glenda, his sons; Earl II, Duncan and Tony, his granddaughters; Tyesha and her husband Edson, Faith and Kabriana, his grandsons; Earl Tevin and Kristopher and a host of family and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to Earl's Visitation, Monday, October 29, 2018, 9 - 11 AM at the First African Baptist Church of Sharon Hill, 901 Clifton Avenue, Sharon Hill, PA 19079, followed by his Funeral Service at 11 AM.
