Edith P. (nee Preston), age 88, of Newtown Square, PA, formerly of Aston township passed away on July 17, 2015 surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Upper Darby to the late Walter and Edith (nee Brunhammer) Preston. Edith worked as a shipping coordinator in the retail industry.
Edie enjoyed traveling. She was an avid reader and loved the challenge of completing crossword puzzles. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed baking and preparing special meals for family and friends. However, her greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
Edith was the beloved wife of the late Joseph L. Worrell and the dear mother of Linn P. (Margie) Worrell, Jane P. (Tom) Keil and Janilyn A. (Barry) Pinkowicz. She was the loving Grandmother of Thomas Tomeo, Katie Tomeo and Ryan Pinkowicz and sister of William Preston and Dolores Newcomb. Edith was predeceased by her 8 siblings.
