Edna M. Savage (nee Dougherty), 81, of Newtown Square, passed away June 22, 2019.
Born October 25, 1937 in Philadelphia, PA, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Margaret (nee Dugan) Dougherty.
Edna was a graduate of West Catholic High School. She was a flight attendant for TWA and also worked as a Secretary for the PAPAS organization.
She was an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan and enjoyed spending time on 72nd street in Sea Isle City, NJ.
She was the beloved wife of 54 years to the late John C. "Jack" Savage; loving mother of Donna Friel (Sean) and Lynda Costello (Patrick); adoring grammy of Brian, Caroline, Michael, Kristen, Patrick and Grace; and dear sister of Thomas Dougherty.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing Thursday, June 27, 2019 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA (610) 353-6300 and Friday, June 28, 2019 10:00 AM to 10:50 AM at St. Mary Magdalen Church, 2400 N. Providence Rd., Media, PA 19063 followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
