Edward C. “Eddie” Jorgensen, Jr., 78. Of Folsom, PA passed away suddenly but peacefully in his sleep on July 14, 2022. He was the beloved son of the late Edward C. & Dorothy (nee Smith) Jorgensen.

Ed was a retired contract administrator for the government and a Vietnam veteran. Eddie served honorably in the US Navy aboard the USS Hancock.

He filled his retired days with motorcycle rides on his Harley Davidson with his friends, enjoying his grandchildren, laying on the floor petting his fur “son” Harley, a mutt he adopted 11 years ago, or the occasional trip to the shooting range. Eddie was a member of the local VFW and he adored his extended family within the bike clubs he belonged, especially riding with his best friend Jim Brinsfield.

One of Eddie’s biggest accomplishments was being a father. He had always wanted a child and considered himself lucky to have had a daughter that he was proud of and who loved him deeply. His daughter, Kristen, considered her dad a lighthouse, a beacon of light when she needed his love and support. He was always there for her through all of life’s ups and downs, and taught her to try and enjoy every moment that life has to offer.

Ed was one of a kind. Forever young at heart. A real character, full of life and always willing to lend a helping hand. He was a true friend to all who knew him.  Eddie would find ways of making everyone around him feel genuinely loved and cared for, even in the littlest of ways. Eddie was silly, kind, and thoughtful but never lacked sincerity. A man who enjoyed life’s simple pleasures, the world is truly missing someone special.

Aside from being survived by his only loving daughter Kristen Jorgensen-Sipper (Jay Sipper), Eddie leaves behind four adoring grandchildren, Ava, Roman, Julian and Jensen. A caring ex-wife Maureen Jorgensen and his “beloved fur son”, Harley.

Family and friends are invited to Ed’s Visitation on July 21, 2022 at The Knoetgen-Donohue Funeral Home 746 Kedron Ave. Morton, Pa from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM. Military Honors will be rendered at 7:00 PM.  Interment will be private.
