Edward Francis Longshore, 74, of West Chester, PA and formerly of Broomall, PA passed away on October 26, 2017.
Born in Philadelphia, PA in 1942, he was the son of the late Edward Joseph and Alice M. (nee Calla) Longshore.
Edward was the beloved husband of Maureen K. (nee Kenney) Longshore; loving father of Katherine L. Tacchino (Arthur); devoted grandfather of Joseph and Margaret; dear brother of Maryanne Burke (Michael).
Edward was devoted to his Catholic faith, serving as a Eucharistic Minister. He will be fondly remembered for his love of all things sports and counted a great afternoon as one spent with an Eagles, Phillies or Villanova Basketball game.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 9:00-10:00 AM Monday, November 6, 2017 at St. Pius X Church, 220 Lawrence Road, Broomall, PA 19008 followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
