Edward Marley

Edward J. "Eddie" Marley, age 94, of Havertown, PA, formerly of Upper Darby, PA, passed away on February 7, 2017. Born in County Donegal, Ireland, he was the son of the late Laughlin and Mary Marley (nee McHugh).



Eddie was employed as manager of the Subway Bar in South Philadelphia for over 30 years. He retired in 1990.



Eddie was predeceased by his beloved wife, Ellen "Nellie" Marley (nee Mimnagh). He is survived by his children John (Maria) Marley and Mary (Joseph) O'Brien, his grandchildren Andrew (Rebekah) Marley, Alexis Marley, Sarah Marley, Patrick White, Molly (Alex) Deak and Michael White, his great-grandchildren Mary, Lucy, Alexander Deak, his sister, Kitty Doherty, sister in law Mary Marley and his many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
