Edward Z. Proudman, age 80, of Villanova, PA, passed away on April 7, 2021. Born in the Kensington section of Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late William and Grace Proudman (nee Fox).
Edward was a loving, hardworking, honest, caring, and dependable man. He loved his family and especially his grandchildren. He would do anything he could to make others happy. Edward worked for Ardrossan Estate in Villanova for over 42 years. The Estate was like a part of the family for him. His life revolved around the needs and events of the estate and the residents who lived on the grounds. Edward loved taking photographs. He loved fish, and always had a tank full of fish. He eventually was able to have a Koi pond.
He loved to talk and debate (argue)!! He could tell stories forever, and loved talking about where he grew up, as well as his parents, brothers and sisters and of course Ardrossan.. Edward was involved with the Devon Horse Show for many years. He loved the Philadelphia Eagles and listening to Frank Sinatra.
Edward is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia E. Proudman (nee Henes), his loving children Scott T. Proudman (Lisa) and Katrina E. Kenney (James IV), and his dear grandchildren Sarah Anne Kenney, James Kenney V and Miley Duff. Brother of Grace Donaghy (the late James), Kay Harley (the late John), Carol Muzyczka (the late Myron), the late William Proudman (Frances) and the late Dorothy Dittmar (Albert).
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Friday, April 16, 2021 10:00-11:00 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 366 W. Lancaster Avenue, Wayne, PA (610) 989-9600 and to his Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Interment Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA.
Masks are to be worn to the viewing, the Funeral Service and Cemetery. Social distancing is to be observed.
