Edward Rominger

October 7, 1927 — August 6, 2019

Edward C. “Ed” Rominger, 91, of Downingtown, PA, passed away peacefully on August 6, 2019. Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Jules A. and Marcella (nee Culin) Rominger.

Ed enjoyed playing the saxophone when he was younger in the West Catholic School Band. As an adult, he enjoyed playing the saxophone in the Senior Band. He was also an avid fisherman. Even though he didn't see combat action, he was deployed to Europe immediately after WWII and is an Army and Air Force veteran.

Ed was the beloved husband of Margaret T. “Peggy” Rominger; loving father of Edward J. (Cynthia) Rominger, Stephen J. (Ray Lynn) Rominger, and Gregory J. Rominger; loving poppy of Lauren, Alison, Sean, and Scott; proud great grandfather of Julian, Landon, and Charlotte; and dear brother of Dr. C. Jules Rominger (Martina).

Relatives and Friends are invited to Edward’s Visitation on Friday, August 9, 2019, from 9:30-10:25 AM at SS. Philip and James Church, 107 N Ship Rd, Exton, PA 19341, followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Edward’s memory may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 555 Croton Road, Suite 111, King Of Prussia, PA 19406.
