Edward Schwartz

Edward S. Schwartz, age 87, of Strafford, PA, passed away on November 24, 2014. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Edward L. and Florence Schwartz (nee Stephens). He was a graduate of Malvern Preparatory School and the University of Pennsylvania. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was employed as Vice President of Sales for Rollins Outdoor Advertising.



Edward was the beloved husband of Margaret "Peg" Schwartz (nee Keegan) and the dear father of Edward L. Schwartz, Tracey J. Schwartz and Kelly S. (Stephen) Koch. Grandfather of Katherine E. (Mitchell) Matuson, Daniel E. Schwartz, Edward S. Schwartz, Kevin A. Schwartz and Lindsey S. (Brandon) Babe. Great-grandfather of Lilian Margaret Matuson. Also survived by his brother Robert Schwartz. He was predeceased by his sisters Charlotte Kennedy and Jane Morhard



Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Friday, November 28, 2014 10:00-11:00 AM Church of St. Katharine of Siena, Aberdeen and Lancaster Avenue, Wayne, PA and to his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment private.
