Edward Sutter, III

Edward, “Eddie” Sutter III, age 55, passed away peacefully on October 18, 2021.

He was a graduate of St. Anastasia School (1980) and Cardinal O'Hara High School (1984).

Edward was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, friend and coach. He was a passionate sports fan, avid outdoorsman, history enthusiast, music lover, and enjoyed traveling. Eddie never passed up the opportunity to coach his kids. Whether it was on the field with the team, or asking to have a catch in the driveway - he had a knack for teaching others how to play. He lived the fullest through simple pleasures, often accompanied by G. Love’s soundtrack  playing in the background and a homemade tuna sandwich in hand. His infectious laugh, winsome smile, and lively personality will never be forgotten, forever missed, and eternally our angel.

Family: Loving husband of the late Elizabeth (Reger) Sutter; proud father of the late Matthew, Ashlee (Brad) Milnes, Gabrielle, Madeline, and Emma; adored son of Edward (Joan) Sutter Jr and preceded in death by his mother, Florence (Jatres) Sutter and by Marie (Harrold) Sutter; doting brother of Judi (TR) Gatti, and Scott Sutter. Grandfather to Mae and Jordan. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Graveside Service, November 23, 2021, 11:00 AM at SS Peter & Paul Cemetery, 1600 S. Sproul Road, Springfield, PA  19064.
