Edward Wootten, Jr.

Edward J. "Ted" Wootten, Jr., age 89, of West Chester, PA, formerly of the Overbrook section of Philadelphia, PA, passed away on January 7, 2017. Beloved husband of the late Helen T. Wootten (nee McCormick). Loving father of Edward J. "Ted" III (Maureen), Thomas, Ricky (Maryellen) and Susie (Tony) DeBello. Also survived by 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.



Ted was a graduate of St. Thomas More High School in Philadelphia. He was employed for the Philadelphia Board of Education for 40 years as an Electrician and Assistant Chief of Maintenance and Operations. He enjoyed bowling and bowled in leagues throughout the area. He also enjoyed spending time in North Wildwood, NJ.



Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Thursday, January 12, 2017 10:00-11:00 AM Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 6315 Lancaster Avenue, Philadelphia, PA and to his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment Calvary Cemetery.
