Eileen Letts

Eileen Julia Letts (nee Fahy), age 95, of Broomall passed away on April 27, 2020.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary “Minnie” (nee Daly) Fahy.

Eileen attended Good Shepherd in Southwest Philadelphia and was a graduate of West Catholic.  Eileen & Walt raised their 6 children first on Bonnaffon Street in Philadelphia and then on Lincoln Avenue in Havertown. She spent her life in service to others, both to her family and residents at the Don Guanella School where her son James (Jimmy) attended. She always made sure the residents had the best of care. When her service was over, Eileen and Walt retired to Cape May, NJ and lived between there and Broomall, PA. She moved to Sunrise in Newtown Square in 2017 and enjoyed social events with other residents and staff. Eileen was loved by everyone she met because she was a very social person with a great sense of humor. She will be missed by all.

Eileen was the beloved wife of the late Walter J. Letts, Jr., the loving mother of Maureen Letts Ingram(David), Michael Letts (Linda), Chris  Letts (Lisa), Jeanne Reilly (Rob), wonderful grandmother to David Ingram (Amy Toth), Beth Ingram, Olivia McAleer (J.P.), Evan Letts (Taylor Lester), Ryan Letts, Chris Letts, Samantha Reilly, Rob Reilly, Brendan Letts, Marikate Letts,  adoring great-grandmother to Kylie and Jack.  Eileen was predeceased by her dear sons, Walter “Joe” Letts (Deborah) and Jimmy Letts.

Services & interment will be held privately.
