Eileen Myrtetus

Eileen R. Myrtetus, 72, of West Chester, PA passed away on January 9, 2020.

Born in Philadelphia, PA in 1947, she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Margaret (O’Connor) Gibbons.

Eileen's family was everything to her - she was passionate about her children and grandchildren.  She was an excellent cook, enjoyed playing Bridge and loved her Ya-Ya’s.  She was affectionately referred to as "Queen."

Eileen was the beloved wife of the late William Myrtetus; loving mother of William L. Myrtetus III, Vincent J. Myrtetus, Jason J. Myrtetus (Angela) and Leigh-Ann Maro (James); devoted grandmother of Evan Myrtetus, Keira-Leigh Myrtetus, Reilyn Myrtetus, Jimmy Maro, Joey Maro, Michael Maro and Matthew Maro; dear sister of Vincent Gibbons. Also, survived by her sister-in-law, Susan Ayers (Duane) and nephew, Duane.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 7:00-9:00 PM Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, 610-431-9000, and to her Funeral Mass 10:30 AM Wednesday at SS Simon & Jude Church, 8 Cavanaugh Court, West Chester, PA 19382

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested for her grandchildren's college funds.
