Eileen Ramspacher

Eileen Marie Ramspacher (nee McGovern), 96, of Media, PA and formerly of Havertown, PA, passed away on April 13, 2017. Born in Philadelphia, PA, in 1920, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Margaret McGovern (nee Donohue). After graduating from Hallahan High School, Eileen went on to attend St. Mary's Nursing School and later earned her B.S. from West Chester University.



Eileen was preceded in death by her beloved husband Claude D. Ramspacher, and daughter Eileen C. Ramspacher, and eight siblings.



Loving mother of Claudia M. Ramspacher. Devoted grandmother of John Claude (Katheryn) Hofmann, great-grandmother of Elizabeth Hofmann. Dear sister of Isabel Wilsbach.



Eileen was also a longtime devoted member of the Annunciation B.V.M. Church.



Relatives and friends are invited to Eileen's viewing on Wednesday, April 19, 2017, 9 to 10:30 A.M. in The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 610-449-0300, and Mass of Christian Burial at 11 A.M. in Annunciation B.V.M. Church, 401 Brookline Blvd., Havertown, PA. Interment Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
