Eileen Simpson

Eileen Marie Simpson, 79, of Blue Bell, PA, passed away April 19, 2020.

Born April 9, 1941 in Philadelphia, PA, she was a daughter of the late Stanley and Mary (nee McTaggart) Fritz.

Eileen attended St. Stephen’s grade school, Little Flower High School, and LaSalle University.

She had a very rewarding career in Finance starting with her years at Arthur Young Accounting Firm in Philadelphia followed by 30 plus years in Finance/ Commercial Real Estate at Jeffery Blank and Associates and Blank-Aschkenasy Properties, where she enjoyed decades of friendship and comradery with her co-workers.

Eileen was an avid traveler often joining friends and family on various trips such as ski trips, European travel and cruises. She enjoyed many summers at her home on Long Beach Island and also vacationing in Myrtle Beach S.C. An avid reader, she could often be found with her toes in the sand and a book in her hand.

Eileen was the loving mother of Richard Simpson (Tara), adoring grandmother of Madeline, Megan, and Maeve; and dear sister of Robert Fritz (Christine) and James Fritz (Elizabeth). She was predeceased by her brother, Joseph Fritz (Pat).

Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass, 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Ss. Simon and Jude Church, 8 Cavanaugh Ct., West Chester, PA 19382.
