Eileene Whitworth

Eileene Whitworth, of Havertown, PA.

Survived by her sister Kathryn (Richard) and brother-in-law Fred White, as well as her beloved nieces and nephews: Erica, Matthew, Kristin, Richard, Michael, Brian and Meghan and their families.

Predeceased by her parents: Hugh and Frances Whitworth and her sister Frances White.

Eileene spent much of her life working as a care provider in area nursing facilities and was devoted to caring for her parents. Never one to draw attention to herself (with the exception of her classic 1981 Ford Fairmont), Eileene often would do many kind acts of hidden generosity for others, especially her family. No doubt the Manoa Shopping Center and Havertown Kohl's will feel a little less complete without her weekly visits.

The family would like to thank Eileene's dear friends Helen Schaper and Mary Coll, as well as Carol Gallagher and the dedicated 10th floor nursing staff at Fair Acres for their love and goodness to her while in their care.

Relatives and friends are invited to Eileene’s Funeral Mass 11:00 AM on Monday, July 22nd, 2024 at Sacred Heart Church, 105 Wilson Ave, Havertown, PA 19083. Interment Private. At Eileene's request there will be no Viewing or Luncheon.
