Elaine M. Stauffer (nee Suntich), 76, of Newtown Square, PA passed away on January 29, 2017.
Born in Pittsburgh, PA in 1940, she was the daughter of the late Milan and Mary Suntich. Elaine enjoyed cooking and made everything from scratch. She enjoyed finding antiques and traveling. Last year she fulfilled her lifelong dream of visiting Paris, France. Elaine cherished her home, where she lived for 54 years. She loved her grandkids and spending time with family. Elaine met all of life's obstacles with beauty, strength, intelligence, and independence.
She was the beloved wife of the late John E. Stauffer; loving mother of Cindy Teixeira (the late Brian), Sandy Stauffer (Kelly), and the late baby Paul Robert; devoted grandmother of Danielle Powell (Michael), Christopher, and Jennifer and great-grandmother of Wren Powell; dear sister of Charles Suntich, Steven Suntich, and the late Raymond Suntich.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 11:00 AM-12:00 PM Saturday, February 4, 2017 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, 610-431-9000 followed by her Funeral Service at 12:00 PM. Interment Birmingham Lafayette Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 555 Croton Road, Suite 111, King of Prussia, PA 19406.
