Eleanor Rucier

Eleanor Ruth Rucier (nee-Openshaw), 96, of Swarthmore, Pa passed away on February 16, 2017. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Robert J. Rucier and her siblings Albert and William Openshaw and Jane Clayton. Eleanor was a member of The Eastern Star, various senior groups in Delaware County and had been a volunteer at Crozer-Chester Medical Center for 30 years. She also enjoyed bowling and line dancing. Surviving Eleanor are her loving children Nancy E. Rucier (Art), Robert J. Rucier (Mary Lou) and Raymond J. Rucier (Robyn) and grandchildren Stephanie, Andrew, Ryan and Jennifer.
