Elizabeth "Beth" Lorene Wood

Betty " Beth" Lorene (Dunlap) Wood, 84, of Woodlynn, PA. (formally of Ridley Park and Collingdale, PA.)  passed away on December 19, 2022 at 12:47 am. at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital due to complications of COPD. She was the daughter of the late Roy and Mary (Tantenauches) Dunlap and  sister,  the late Alice Dunlap who resided in Cannonburg, Pennsylvania at the time of Beth's birth on December 3, 1938. Beth attended Germantown High School of Philadelphia Pennsylvania.

Beth was previously employed by Roman Furniture and Carpet in Clifton Heights, Pennsylvania for over 30 years. She worked throughout her life in customer service and management positions due to her friendly and down to earth personality were she exceeded in her work. Beth also worked for Sears Cleaning Services in Folcroft, Pennsylvania, National Fulfillment Services in Holmes, Pennsylvania, and Franklin Mint in Media, Pennsylvania. She also worked in child care due to her love and natural ability for children along with being a den mother in the boy scouts in her younger years. She enjoyed gardening, dancing, shopping, bowling, listening to bands (she was a Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, Dixie Chics fan -  along with many others) and dinning out. Summer was her favorite season. Beth enjoyed the beach and treating herself to her favorite treat water ice and soft pretzels with mustard. Beth loved her cat Mia, spending time with her family; especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was free spirited, open minded and she would do what she could to lend a helping hand to people in need. Beth will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Beth was the loving mother of Melissa Maira Wood (Alan), Bruce Francis Wood, and the late Bryan Charles Wood (Theresa). She was the adoring grandmother to Zane Alan Wood, Dillon Graham Wood (Dimitri), Devyn Monet Pensky, Amy Michele Wood, Stacey Lynn Wood, Lynsay Marie Wood, wonderful great-grandmother to Dorian Alexus Graham (Diamond) and Jase David Anderson. She will be missed tremendouly missed by her loving friend to Robbie Durbanis.
