Elizabeth Della Torre

Elizabeth A. “Betty” Della Torre, 88, of West Chester, PA, formerly of Belleville, NJ, passed away on May 13, 2021.

Born in Belleville in 1932, she was the daughter of the late Philip and Florence (nee Zarro) DiSturco.

Betty was the beloved wife of 68 years to Vincent T. Della Torre; loving mother of Laura J. Hunter (Dennis R.), Thomas Della Torre (Valerie A.), and Lisa C. Cuevas (Joseph); dear sister of Florence Bongiorno (the late Peter); predeceased by 3 siblings, Lucille Bellavia, Phyllis Szesko, and John DiSturco; caring grandmother of Tara (Matthew), Alissa (Raymond), Todd (Leslee), Vincent (Christina), Jason (Whitney), Brian (Corinne), Joseph, and Justin and great-grandmother of Caitlin, Keegan, Elizabeth, Gracyn, Raymond, Kayla, Madison, and one on the way.

Betty enjoyed working for AT&T. She was the President of the PTA in Belleville and worked on the board of elections. Betty enjoyed playing piano, singing in the choir, bingo, playing the lottery, and trips to Atlantic City, NJ. Above all, she loved her family.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 7:00-9:00 PM Friday, May 21, 2021 and 9:30-10:30 AM Saturday at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, 610-431-9000, followed by her Funeral Mass 11:00 AM at SS Peter & Paul Church, 1325 Boot Road, West Chester, PA 19380. Interment private.
