Elizabeth A. "Bette" Engblom (nee Kane), age 72, of Sea Isle City, NJ, formerly of Springfield, PA, passed away on December 22, 2016.
Born in Darby, PA, she was the daughter of the late John F. and Marie F. Kane (nee Irons). Bette was a teacher at Monsignor Bonner High School for many years. She retired in 2002.
Bette was the beloved wife of William A. Engblom, the loving mother of Kevin C. Engblom (Tina) and Jeffrey I. Engblom (Kristen). Dear grandmother of Jack, Isabella, Justin, Riley, Kayla and Taylor. Sister of John Kane, Mary McGonigle, Kathy Barksdale and the late David Kane. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Aunt of the late Marty McGonigle and David Kane.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Thursday, December 29, 2016 6:00-9:00 PM The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA (610) 353-6300 and Friday, December 30, 2016 9:30-10:45 AM St. Kevin Church, 200 W. Sproul Road, Springfield, PA followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to Monsignor Bonner Archbishop Prendergast High School Scholarship Fund in memory of Elizabeth A. Engblom, 403 N. Lansdowne Avenue, Drexel Hill, PA 19026 would be appreciated.
