Elizabeth D. Johnson (nee Dewees), 83, of Newtown Square, PA passed away on March 27, 2014.
Born in Birchrunville, PA in 1930, Elizabeth was the daughter of the late Mary A. (Skeen) and J. Hause Dewees.
She was the beloved wife of the late Guy R. Johnson; loving mother of Catherine W. Biernacki and the late David Dewees Johnson; loving grandmother of Alexis J. Biernacki.
Elizabeth was a devoted wife and mother and a longtime caregiver to various family members. She was an excellent cook, who loved reading and playing Bridge.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 10:00-11:00 AM Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at the Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, 610-431-9000 and to her Memorial Service at 11:00 AM. Interment St. Andrew's Episcopal Church Cemetery, Ludwigs Corner.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to the PSPCA (Pennsylvania Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals), 350 E. Erie Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19134.
