Elizabeth Lodge

Elizabeth Hunt Lodge (Betty), age 88 of West Chester, PA passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2020. Raised in the Manoa section of Havertown, Betty was the daughter of Francis and Miriam Hunt.

Betty graduated from Notre Dame in Moylan. Betty was happily married for 51 years to Edmund G. Lodge, Ned (deceased 2005). They had six children: Ed Lodge (Sandy), Jim Lodge, Tom Lodge (Mary), Patty Cleveland (Billy), Marianne Fetzer (Earl), and Kathy Popiel (Mike). Betty and Ned were thrilled to be grandparents to 15 wonderful grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Betty was a loving wife, mother, aunt, sister, and friend. She was best known for her warm smile, love, and kindness. Betty had a strong faith and was a member of SS Simon and Jude since 1967. Her grandchildren thought of Betty (Nana) as a living saint/angel on earth. She was the ultimate matriarch of her family. The world is truly a better place because she was in it. Now she is reunited with God, her loving husband, brothers and sisters. Rest in peace, we will miss you every day.
