Elizabeth M. "Betty" McCausland

Elizabeth “Betty” M. McCausland (née Barlow), 95, of West Brandywine Township, PA and formerly of Glenolden, PA passed away on September 13, 2022.

Born in 1926 in Chester, PA, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Laura M. (née McKinney) Barlow.

Betty was the beloved wife of the late Fred A. McCausland; loving mother of Jill M. Halley (Lowman) and the late Fredrick McCausland (Lyn); dear grandmother of Kristie, Forrest, Morgan, Lee and Bob; great-grandmother of 7 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother, Walter Barlow.

Betty was a 1944 graduate of Glen-Nor High School in Glenolden. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who loved spending time with her family, especially her grand kids and great-grand kids. She was the former secretary at St Matthew’s Episcopal Church in Broomall and transcribed many Braille books for the blind. She enjoyed crocheting, reading and was an avid bowler. She had some wonderful times traveling the United States with her husband.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 2:00-3:30 PM Saturday, October 8, 2022 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, 610-431-9000. Interment Philadelphia Memorial Park.
