Elizabeth McHugh

Elizabeth C. McHugh (nee Crothers), age 90, a 65 year resident of Broomall, PA, passed away on January 30, 2016. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Louis S. and Elizabeth A. Crothers (nee Steeley). Elizabeth was employed as a waitress at B. Altman in St. Davids, PA for 25 years. She retired in 1989.



Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband Thomas J. McHugh, Sr. and her sister Ruth (John) Murphy. She is survived by her children Elizabeth (Roy) Blackledge, Thomas (Patti) McHugh, Jr., and William McHugh, her 7 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and her sister Dolly Morabito (the late Paul).



Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Saturday, February 6, 2016 10:00-10:50 AM St. Anastasia Church, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA and to her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.



In lieu of flowers, contributions in Elizabeth's name to the Delaware County SPCA, 555 Sandy Bank Road, Media, PA 19063 would be appreciated.
