Scheetz, Elizabeth R. "Betty" (nee Ewing), 90, of West Chester, PA and formerly of Norwood, PA passed away on August 26, 2013.
Born in 1923 in Norwood, PA, Elizabeth was the daughter of Hannah O'Hara and James J. Ewing, both deceased.
Elizabeth was one of the founding members of SS Simon & Jude Church. She was a Girl Scout Leader for many years and was a member of the Goshen Fire Company and Goshen Grange. She was a longtime employee at The Daylesford Abbey.
Elizabeth was the beloved wife of 66 years to William D. Scheetz; loving mother of Dee Idnani (Govind) of Oakton, VA, Betsy Radtke (Erich) of Kennett Square, PA, Jo-Ann Meckley (William) of Gap, PA, William D. Scheetz Jr. of Beverly Hills, CA, Donna Shinn (Frank) of Fuquay-Varina, NC, and Angela Hausch (Bob) of Morgantown, PA; loving grandmother of 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Also survived by her dear sister, Mrs. Helen McGovern.
