Elizabeth Van Belle

Elizabeth Jean “Betty” Van Belle (nee Lee), 87, of West Chester, PA, passed away on July 19, 2022.

Born in Drexel Hill, PA in 1935, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Elizabeth (nee Honan) Lee. Betty was a graduate of Notre Dame High School, Moylan, PA. She worked at Paoli Hospital. Betty was an avid reader who also enjoyed listening to Irish music. She enjoyed the Mummer’s and loved to spend time with her family, especially at holiday parties. She was proud of all her grandchildren.

Betty was the beloved wife of the late William A. Van Belle; loving mother of Daniel Van Belle, Mark Van Belle (Sarah), Dianne Kern (Peter), the late William J. Van Belle, and the late Jeanne M. Lambert; caring grandmother of Matthew, Ashley, John Paul, Brendan, William, Caitlin, Peter, Michael, Elizabeth, Anna, and Payton.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 10:00-11:00 AM Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at SS Simon & Jude Church, 8 Cavanaugh Court, West Chester, PA 19382, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.
