Ellen Popjoy

Ellen Jane Popjoy, of Glenmoore, PA., 91 years of age, passed away on December 25, 2016 at Zerbe Home in Morgantown, PA. She was born in Johnstown, PA to the late Louise Jane (Murray) and Doyle Lohr. She shared 51 years of marriage to Baldwin "Buck" Popjoy. She was employed at Graco in Elverson, PA. and also Ball and Ball in Exton, PA for a number of years.

Ellen is survived by her 2 children, Harold M. (Annette) Smith Jr., Dennis A. (Linda) Smith, of Elverson, PA.; grandmother of Adam (Erica), Harold M. Smith III (Sonny), and Dustin (Rebecca Stevens); great grandmother of Juliette, Scarlett, Zachary, and Hannah; brother James Lohr (Helen); and sister in law Joan Lahr (Harry). She was predeceased by Harold M. Smith, Sr. (Sonny), siblings Doyle Lohr, Jr., Harry Lohr, Melba Lease, Jean DiDomencio and Patricia Kenworthy (William).

Relatives and Friends are invited to her Visitation Friday, January 6, 2017, at 9:30-11:00 AM, followed by her Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 43 West Lancaster Ave., Downingtown, PA 19335. Interment Windsor Baptist Cemetery.
