Ellen Vetter

Ellen "Penny" Marie Vetter (nee McFarland), 70, of Downingtown, PA and formerly of Secane, PA passed away on May 17, 2019. Born in Chester, PA in 1948, Penny was the beloved daughter of the late Henry J. and Ellen M. McFarland. She was the loving mother of Kathy DelVacchio (Vince), Terry Vetter-Wylie and George Vetter (Nancy); devoted grandmother of Nathan Vetter, Heather Wylie, Rachel Wylie, Lauren DelVacchio, Alex DelVacchio and Vincent DelVacchio; dear sister of Thomas McFarland and the late Henry McFarland. Penny was proud of her hard work as a baker at Walmart in Springfield, PA and as an Administrative Assistant for Boiron. Penny enjoyed sewing and gardening. She loved the shore, the salt water and visiting with family on the Chesapeake in Maryland. Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing 10:00-11:00 AM Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at The Knoetgen-Donohue Funeral Home, 746 Kedron Ave, Morton, PA 19070, 610-544-0600 followed by her Funeral Service 11:00 AM. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.
