Ellene Walters

Ellene Jean "Lea" Walters, 83, of Bradenton, FL, passed away July 10, 2019.

Born October 7, 1935 in Philadelphia, PA, she was a daughter of the late Charles Lester and Amanda (nee Bunner) Forrester.

Lea had an infectious smile and was the life of the party. She enjoyed spending time at the beach, golfing, but most of all she loved her family and spending time with her children, grandchildren and couldn't wait to hold or play with her "little darling" great-grandchildren. She was always so proud to introduce her family to all of her friends.

Lea enjoyed entertaining and loved to dance. She was always on the go, out doing something and always wanted to be the "social director". She was a fashionista and lit up the room whenever she walked in. She always knew everyone.

She was the loving mother of Kim Kinney (Rick), David Brookes (Samantha), and Barbara Little (Billy); adoring grandmother of Brittney Turpin (Jeremy), Lindsay Little, William Little, Kelli Carlin, Patrick Carlin (Jen), Eric Kinney, Cameron Brookes, Kyle Brookes, Blake Brookes, Danny Brookes (Lisa) caring great-grandmother of JJ, Lealyn, Luke, Maylee, Noah, Nicholas, Max, Mikey, Ava, Kylie, and Payton; and dear sister of Robert Forrester. She was predeceased by her son, Daniel Brookes, and her brother, Ronald Forrester.

Relatives and Friends are invited to her Visitation 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, 610-431-9000, followed by her Celebration of Life at 12:30 PM.
