Estella Mae Laird, age 90, of Boothwyn, PA, died peacefully on July 23, 2016.
Born in Colorado Springs, Colorado in February 1926 to George Wells Clute and Florence Roberta Noble. She moved to Bonners Ferry, Idaho when she was 12 years old.
She married Donald L. Laird on November 14, 1945 and relocated to Chicago, Illinois and later to Delaware County, Pennsylvania. They were very happily married for 43 years until Donald's death in 1988.
She is survived by her two sons DeWayne (Pat) Laird and Roger (Kathy) Laird, and by one nephew and one niece.
Before her retirement, she was employed by State Farm Insurance Company for 16 years. She enjoyed travel, reading and crossword puzzles.
A small graveside service will be held 11:30 AM Thursday at Glenwood Memorial Gardens, 2321 West Chester Pike, Broomall, PA 19008 at the Last Supper Section.Please look for the sign from the West Chester Pike/Rte 3 entrance at the first road on the right.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to Willow Tree Hospice Care, 616 E Cypress St, Kennett Square, PA 19348.
