Eugena V. Slata (nee Valence), age 90, of Broomall, PA, formerly of Collingdale, PA, passed away on October 13, 2017. Born in Nanticoke, PA, she was the daughter of the late Anthony J. and Helen M. Valence (nee Rabulinski). She worked as a Supervisor at Bell Telephone for 35 years.
Eugena was predeceased by her beloved husband George Slata. She is survived by her loving son, George Slata (Jeanne), her grandchildren Anthony Slata (Courtney) and Lisa Slata and her great-grandchild, Riley.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Wednesday, October 18, 2017 10:00-11:00 AM at St. Pius X Church, 220 Lawrence Road, Broomall, PA and to her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Eugena's memory to the American Heart Association, 1617 John F. Kennedy Blvd., Suite 700, Philadelphia, PA 19103 would be appreciated.
