Born in 1940, Gene was the beloved son of the late Eugene and Mary (Rafferty) Docherty.
Gene was a 1962 graduate of Villanova University and worked as an Accountant for Glaxo-Smith Kline. He was a kind and perceptive person.
He was the beloved husband of Mary Ann (Bangert) Docherty; loving father of Mary Theresa Docherty; and dear brother of Francis (Ma Jo), Joseph and John Docherty.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing 10:00-11:00 Thursday, December 28, 2017 at SS Simon & Jude Church, 8 Cavanaugh Court, West Chester, PA followed by his Funeral Mass 11:00 AM. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.
