Eugene Kates

Eugene Kates, 84, of Morton, Pa passed away on August 18, 2016 at Taylor Hospice House. He was the loving son of the late Cyrus and Faye (nee Wagner) Kates and brother of the late Harvey Kates. He was a kind and gentle soul and is survived by his beloved wife Barbara A. Tomlinson, nephews Rocco and Steven and many other nieces and nephews. Before his retirement Eugene was employed by the Federal Government as a computer programmer at the South Philadelphia Supply Depot. He enjoyed watching and occasionally betting on horse racing from Philadelphia Park and Aqueduct Racetrack in New York.
