Faustina Laird

Faustina Guida Laird, 103, entered into the Kingdom of Heaven on June 29, 2016. She passed on with dignity and grace with her son, Charles "Bud" at her side.
She was predeceased by her husband, Charles A. Laird, Sr.; granddaughter-in-law, Nadine Laird; brothers, Pasquala, Aneilo and Alfonso of Italy; and sisters, Teresa and Lidda of Italy.
She was the loving mother of Charles "Bud" Laird (Carol); loving grandmother of Charles and Andrew (Allison); loving great-grandmother of Alexis, Isabella, Ascha and Acen; dear sister of Edda, Vilma and Vincenzo. Also survived by many nieces and nephews in Italy and friends in the United States.
Faustina arrived in America in January 1947 as an Italian War bride and became an American Citizen. She traveled back and forth to Italy every year to visit family. She worked for 45 years for the Upper Darby School District Cafeteria.
