Florence Mary Hampton (nee Sullivan), 86, of West Brandywine Township, PA formerly of Marple Township, PA passed away February 1, 2018.
Born in Chester, PA in 1931 she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Florence (Collins) Sullivan.
Florence played in many local bridge groups and was excellent at duplicate bridge. She was a wonderful wife and a kind, generous mother, who was always seen smiling. She enjoyed summers at the shore and winters in Boca Raton, FL.
Florence was the beloved wife of 66 years of Robert G. Hampton; loving mother to Patricia H. Morgan, Sharon A. Zinna, Judy A. Hampton, and Cindy A. Montague; adoring grandmother to four grandchildren and dear great-grandmother to six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by five brothers.
Services will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Florence's memory to the Fisher Center for Alzheimer's Research Foundation, 110 East 42nd Street, 16th Floor, New York, NY 10017.
